Welcome to The Desert Crown Theater Company!
Founded in September 2021, we are a community theater group local to the Vail and Corona de Tucson, Arizona areas. Being off the beaten track, we noticed a lack of opportunities for the youth in our area to work with and explore different extracurricular activities. One area that was noticeably absent was an emphasis in the arts and drama. As parents and theater lovers, we wanted to provide opportunities for the youth to develop self-confidence and self-expression. We likewise wanted to provide a creative outlet for adults: to reignite their passion for being on stage or to introduce them to the craft. This is an all-inclusive theater which welcomes all levels of experience, all ages, and all those in who love theater!
Board of Directors
Desert Crown Theater Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, overseen by a volunteer-based Board of Directors. These dedicated volunteers oversee the artistic and operational aspects of the company, often serving as production staff for our youth camps and seasonal productions. Board Directors are elected and assume a three year term, Officers are appointed and assume a one year term.
