Agenda

Last Meeting Follow-up

  1.  Revisit joining the Vail Chamber of Commerce presented by Caitlyn Drake
Board members individually researched benefits of joining the chamber and feel at this time, the cost does not justify the potential networking opportunities the chamber may provide.
  2. TMTR Budget and Timeline presented by Caitlyn Drake
The Mouse That Roared budget will be ~$5000 and performed at SUSD Auditorium September 19th & 20th. Major budget needs are performance venue and licensing rights. Auditions to be held at the beginning of June with rehearsals starting in July. Caitlyn Drake to direct with Cynthia Kartchner as AD, Raedin Ralston as SM, Christine Ralston as Costume Lead. All other production roles TBD.

New Business

  1. YSC & Workshop Registrations update presented by Christine Ralston
Current numbers are 39 registered students; Waitlist is open with several children waiting for offers. We must reach at least 10 students more in order to double cast the show. Waitlist will close by the end of the month if not filled.
  2. YSC Budget Increase & Performance Venue presented by Christine Ralston
Due to the change of location to SUSD Auditorium from the original requested location of Mica Mountain HS, the camp operating budget has increased ~$500. The new venue offers more inclusions in the pricing and has a larger seating capacity.
  3. Golf Tournament update presented by Cynthia Kartchner
The goal is to reach 100 golfers by the day of the tournament, which is just over a month away.
  4. Ludus Fee increase to cover products presented by Cynthia Kartchner
Ludus Fees will increase from 5%+$.80 to 5%+$.90 for the addition of marketing upgrade and website embedded widget. These products will negate the need for MailChimp and allow our website to display our box office portal on our own domain.
